    It is ridiculous, but imagine if Lewis is without a contract as the season starts! Lewis thinks he is worth this much, Toto thinks he is not worth that much, as George Russell did so well in his car.

    I think he will get his contract but that’s for sure his last, specially if his rumored Diva attitude is true. Wont sit well with the Germans.

    I might take the opposite side of the coin...

    If they put Russell in the Car... And Russell or Bottas become WDC,... that really shows it is the car more than the driver... (3 different drivers become WDC in the car).

    Wouldn't that benefit MB?

    Lewis Hamilton needs Mercedes more than Mercedes needs Hamilton.

    He's just extremely overrated. I would go with George & The Hulk anytime, and saves a couple of millions $$ at the same time.

    If this was negotiation for any other good driver/lower profile than LH not much news would result. This is a contract negotiation like most others. 2 parties attempt to reach an agreement. Ralf needs to go tend his garden. This is old news now with LH and Mercedes. World turns no matter what happens.
