    Near 50 years ago, but much closer to Mt. Baldy. Nearly had the entire length memorized.

    Great road for the smaller, lower hp cars. With all the blind, narrow corners with oncoming traffic on the wrong side of the road, it is pretty hazardous.

    Try the backside of the mountain, heading out towards Wrightwood. Much better for higher hp, bigger cars.
