488 Traded in my 458 for a 488

Loved my 2014 458 but finally bit the bullet and traded for a certified used 17’ 488 with 2,400 miles. They just delivered it and wouldn’t you know it snow! lol

Very nice and congratulations. Love the color combination. Probably not the best to drive it on salted streets but it would be a huge temptation.

Why did you trade?

 

My 458 had 26,000 miles, maintenance just expired and honestly my 458 was in for repairing the sticky buttons. I saw the white 488 in the show room lol 15 minutes later I owned it.

 

It won't be long now until they will pay you to do such a trade. Most likely your 458 was sold the next day

26k miles is a good run in the 458, though you probably needn't have feared the mileage aspect.

Funny how things like this happen to me all the time, especially for impulsive, large purchases.

And best of luck with your new-to-you 488, it looks super awesome with the red accents! (and I'm biased towards Bianco Avus).

Note: in the future, it may be cheaper to pay someone to collect the car and drop it off for any maintenance......oh, and you may want to change your userID....

They look great in Bianca. I did the same as you did and sold my 458 for a 488 last August.. No regrets whatsoever but still think the 458 is an awesome car.

 

Your car looks awesome. I don't see many with the standard rims but I really like that look.
