Thanks Mike for the correction. I didn't see where it was dated- just showed up with the Testarossa auctioned off yesterday. I didn't connect it wasn't in yesterdays auction when I scrolled through the auction and didn't see it. Bertrand, yes my car was the one from Driversource. The interior IS different from my other two standard tan 328 GTS's. The carpet is a shade of brown, the dash is brown leather rather than the black vinyl. The seats are not the usual tan. I've never seen another like it. The rarity of the interior, was certainly one of the reasons I decided to buy the car. PLUS it's NOT RED, my current license.
I don't know you are also a 328 multi owner ( in the same time ? ) The brown ( once again think is Testa di Moro ) is rare on GTB indeed. Very fews in US and heard about only one in Europe. I also bought my Blu Sera GTB because I wanted Blue GTB with Beige interior
bertrand328 yes I have three 328's at the same time. One is a fairly low mileage salvage car that was smacked in the right front. I figured I'd fix it and drive the wheels off of it, but then made the mistake of buying a 458 spider. I'm still going to finish it, but the 458 is SO much fun to drive. DON'T buy a new Ferrari if you want to stay in love with your 328. I don't think I drove my 328 GTB more than twenty miles last YEAR! But then again, there's NO car events anywhere..
ZFFXA19A5J0077365 This unit has been in Spain since 1994, in the Spanish documentation it appears as first registration 02/02/1988. Miami? Is it known what license plate it had? In a few weeks I will be able to see the documentation of the import to Spain and I will see the origin ...
All these units are or have been in Spain, if you need any information tell me... #60607 #60789 #61367 #66307 #68775 #69661 #73403 #74287 #76402 #77807 #78152 #78455 I think there are quite a few that do not appear in any list published here ...
To my knowledge all are 328GTS and this thread is about GTB. However I will be happy to know more about few of them ...
02/02/1988 should be a mistake. According my data #77365 was produced in ( early?) May 1988 and first registration date is September 21, 1988 ( from CARFAX )
Right, little mistake, I thought it was talking about all 328 Americans. Send a private and I give you more information than you need
It is a date that appears in the official Spanish documents of the Ferrari ... Next week when I see the import documents maybe I will find some more information
anyone has this image in higher resolution? I would like to know the date that appears below, in the registry in Miami? September 1988?
I have contacted the Florida office and they tell me that the registration of the vehicle there was in 1993 and not in 1988 as Carfax says ...

Here's my 1988.5 328 GTB. S/N 78555 with approx. 15k miles. Had Ferrari Classiche certification done 3 years ago. All original. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Delivery was made in FL. I'll have to check the service book, but I believe it was Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale.
According the sale and service organisation book the official period Ferrari dealer in Virginia was American Service Center in Arlington. I don't know Ferrari dealer in Fredericksburg, VA. at that time. Does the name of this dealer is written on the warranty book ?
