More from the FIA GT Sebring and Laguna Seca 1997 along with Homestead 1998. Great cars in this series. Those longtail Mclarens were extremely loud and amazing. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
And Phil Hills ride at the last Laguna Seca historical race he drove at I believe. He was getting forgetful by this time when I talked to him in the paddock. This is a Colli rebody on the original Alfa Romeo 1953 3000 CM chassis. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Just a ‘really lucked-out this time’ memory: at the Hotel de Paris in Monte Carlo through Qualifying at the 2015 F1. Looking down from room’s balcony at hotel staff watching Kimi Raikonnen. (The sound was even better than the views.) Image Unavailable, Please Login
If you want an AIR COOLED 911 now is not the time to buy. Wait a few years as they made close to a half million of them since 1963-64 and they will keep finding more. Almost endless supply, not a good thing for a collector car. More photos from Road America during the IMSA races in August 2013-14... With the news Ferrari will re enter factory prototype racing here are a few 333SP pictures from Daytona 1995 and Sebring 1996. Although the 333SP was only run by private teams it was still a great car with heavy factory involvement for the first few years. A few more from the Daytona 24 hours 1996-1998. The Callaway and Bugatti were amazing sounding. Never forget the Bugatti EB110 passing prototypes on the banking but it was slow on the infield. Rather heavy racecar. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
First picture is Sebring 1999 of one of the winning BMW team cars. They also went on to win Lemans that year. That factory BMW team I have to say was the rudest team I ever met. Next up the 1992 Nissan Daytona 24 hour winning team cars. The red/white/blue car won. These cars were brought in from Japan to run with the normal IMSA Electromotive Nissan cars. Also a shot I own the rights to but did not take from Watkins Glen in 1974, a Alfa Romeo 33TT12. A few more from Sebring 1999 and 2003 along with the 1995 Daytona winner. Not very fast it lasted when the valve seats on the 333SP's didn't. The TVR was interesting looking and had the best looking female racecar driver I have ever seen. She looked like a Hawaiian Tropic girl. Also the Saleen Mustang 1999 independent suspension racecar prototype at Sebring. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
A few more photos. Viper day with photos from 1998 Homestead, Daytona Luigi 1996 in the cold rain, Sebring 1996 team photos in front of the Viper truck and the top photo the car #91 Daytona 24 hours 2000 winner. A few Bugatti T57's in Highland Park when they used to have the yearly classic car show. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
A few show cars from the Geneva Illinois Concours. I wish JB would have a small show locally to showcase his fine collection someday. These are borderline "sportscars", but still very interesting cars. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
A few more photos this week... Remember these Fuelfed events in Ravenswood Chicago a few years ago. I hope they come back after Covid19.
