Hello Fellow SoCal Ferrari Owners

I posed a thread on the 575M forum and I figured it's probably a good idea to post one here in hopes of meeting some of you during cars & coffee and such.

I'm Vic and I just traded a couple of cars from my collection with a this 2003 Ferrari 575M Maranello and I'm really looking forward to some great driving time on the weekends.

Ha, you bought that from Steve over SCS, good guy. I was going to take a look at it and it looks like you beat me to the punch. Got a damn cold (COVID Neg) during the holidays and I just pushed out going over to see it. Good for you, its a beautiful car!!!

 

Thanks man so far I'm loving the beast and she turns heads wherever I go. Actually I traded couple of other cars from my collection directly with the owner. They had it consigned with SCC.

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it this week as I'm still awaiting for my fuel pumps to show up from Italy LOL. They had a 3 week back order due to COVID.

 

Make sure to replace the rubber bits too and welcome to the show !

 

Oh for sure. I'm replacing all the O-rings and pipes/hoses.

 

Finally done with fuel pump replacement. I figured to give it some more love while parked and waiting for the parts to arrive.

What you guys think? I had it diamond stitched at a local shop and did the installation myself. Piece of cake. Now working on fixing the loose leather on that back trim piece.

Who did you use for the leather work ?

If possible you should look into going to the Concorso Italiano this year.

I had Vic's Upholstery Supply in Panorama City made these in panels. He sells all the materials too along with stitching it. All you have to do is take it home and cut the pattern and install.

I will for sure lookin into Concorso Italiano, sounds interesting.

I just got my tickets to display my ride on August 14th, 2021. Hotel was a ***** to find LOL but reserved one.

 

That’s awesome man, we entered to display last year (cancelled) and our registration is supposed to carry over to 2021, so I will see you there ! We have a 2003 Black 456M.

Yea, I cannot imagine the hotel situation, we are fortunate to have a place at Seascape resort down in Aptos which makes it incredibly convenient.

 

Dont forget the Ferrari show as part of the San Marino Motor Ckassic this August.

I'm so not show quality. I drove my 550 in the rain up to willow springs raceway yesterday. It is really dirty on the outside and looks like a homeless guy slept in it on the inside! Use 'em and abuse 'em boys. If Vince saw my car he could not stand it. He would be looking for a sponge and a bucket.
