Ferrari VIP track day at Apex

I must be banned. I own a track oriented Ferrari and didn’t get invited. Go figure. Going to go to the Koenniegs reveal anyways.

 

I just happened to be there last week to drive one of the 812s (same feeling as you BTW, like the mid engine cars better). Anyway I always ask about track days so they know I’m interested. I’m certain if you inquired you’d get an invitation, it’s lead/follow so no open lapping but a chance to get the car above “normal” speeds.

 

All good. Couldn’t make it anyways but this isn’t the first time. Not a huge deal by me but just thought it was interesting.

 

I was suppose to go and had a battery issue. Hope to be invited again.

 

Yes I’m hoping to go again next time, was a very nice event. The Apex track is great, after a couple of lead/follow sessions they let us go out in open lapping for as long as we wanted. Paul Tracy & Derek Daily spoke at lunch, overall a good day!

 

I would have enjoyed listing to those two.

I have had the 812 to Apex for a couple of sessions and been there with a few other cars for different events. I enjoy that track. But generally hate missing any invite to any track day event.

 

Very cool to see that they do these events.

 

Yeah, its nice that they are doing this (they didn't when I lived down there with the CS, but there were plenty of track days to be had in PHX)
