There priced nicely so much car 488 is a beast 458 is nice also but to me front of it looks out dated and 488 performance is far superior to a 458 each is own I prefer the 488

love my tr before i bought my 488 i checked out a few other models the 488 was the winner,suspension.performance and looks 488 is te winner imo both are great you get a 458 and im very happy with my 488

 

they are thats why i jumped on mine

Just be careful the 488 is a fair bit quicker than the 458!!

I mean we can go on all day. I prefer the Ferraris and it’s been debated as nauseam, the 458 will
Be Rmbr as one of the best all time, the 488 is even faster but is the first step towards modernity that makes Ferraris less appealing to many... that being said Ferrari could not keep doing N/A’s forever.

I know, I just like to rag on the 458 guys as it is fun.

I had a 2011 458 for 2.5 years and I was never enamored buy it. (The one with the louder exhaust)

At the same time I had a 997.2 GT3 RS and a 991.1 GT3 RS and I much preferred these.

I also had an F12 which I drove the absolute wheels off and enjoyed!!

My least favorite was the 458.

Then I purchased a 488 GTB and I truly loved the car, however I wasn’t in love with the looks. It also sounded very special and was loud.

Now I have a Pista and I wish it sounded more like my 488 GTB.

I am not ruling out a 458 Speciale in the future either as I really like the sum of all of its parts.

BTW - I was surprised at the above comparison with the Tesla as I too thought it would have eaten the 360cs.

Congrats love the white on red!...I did the same 458 to 488...no comparison huge upgrade...

 

You have the Pista valves pinned or have a remote ? Im sure the Pista will sound very much like the 488 GTB if you open the valves.

 

I have the Forza controller.

My 488 was way deeper in sound.

Well i love the sound of my 488 GTB. I will say now with 5,300 kms the sound has evolved better and better.

 

I already purchased novitec non valved xpipe and catless downpipes

 

That is Awesome!

Let’s hope my Pista evolves in the same manner!!
