There´s a FB account of Escuderia 24 with last post from 2017. Escudería 24 - 帖子 | Facebook If you scroll down, you will find images of the 750 Monza. Beautiful model, unfortunately I missed it. Also their website still exists: escuderia24 - Model Kits & Accessories I tried to contact them half a year ago, but received no reply except an automatic answer. New from Carrera in 1/24th scale this year. If you know them you know they are slot cars, but very nice to convert to static. Decals from Indy Decals available for most of the car or the whole cars decal from Australia. Image Unavailable, Please Login
My promised Scale Designs Cartograf printed 1/24th VW Pan Am 1954 and Jaguar XK120 Pan Am 1952 sheet is back from printing in Italy. They look superb and will be on sale soon. I want to note that UMI creator Mike Quarterman is seriously ill and in the hospital. He did the artwork for so many decal sheets including this Pan am sheet. Our prayers are with him for a full recovery!!
Pocher/Hornby announced a full kit version of the 300SL street car using subscription kit tooling (with only fair detail), then cancelled it in the midst of financial troubles. The upcoming LeGrand (not Pocher) 1/8 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupe kit will be new tooling and much better detail. But it is taking a long time with Covid and HK/China political troubles.
Yes I had seen that. I guess Hornby isn't willing or doesn't have the resources to make a real effort with Pocher. They are missing the boat in my opinion. As I said above, the Aventador could have made a nice boost to their bottom line had they re-released it, say, last year. A different color in a limited run and people would have been all over it. Instead it's been 3+ years with no car models and the Lotus "might" be out by Fall although initially they said early 2022 and I thought "how stupid to miss the Christmas season this year".
Tom, do you know more how Mike is doing? I met him 28 years ago at his home, spent an afternoon with him, and he showed me how he is casting resine - great hospitiliy! Since that day I´m working with resine, thanks to Mike. I have his UMI Ferrari kits (166MM, and even 512M), and also almost all of his Motor Racing Replia News, which were fascinating magazines with wonderful illustrations. He´s a great guy, I whish him all the best, and hope he will be back fully recovered very soon!
Mike is still in the hospital. That might be a good sign with his condition and lets hope he gets thru this ok. I have also know him around the same amount of time and he is a great car guy with some real talent making artwork and decals. I used to go to Laguna Seca with him every year for the historical races and ALMS.

Another 1/12th scale Alfa Romeo kit coming in March from Hiro. Hope it's a Alfa T33/3 1970-71 racecar. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Those last couple are so nice I'd be tempted to skip the paint and just clear coat the polished metal finish.
Well they are doing the Stradale T33 1968 in 1/12th scale. They just ran into my first Alfa Romeo pass as this has already been done in 1/12th scale very nicely by Premium Classixx's and I already have it. If they choose to do the 1967 prototype T33 Stradale also I will buy it. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hiro 1/12th Alfa T33 Stradale looks really nice.......... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nu Nu news.. They have a good size of back logged kits they need to finish first. Here are the new rumors with a 1/12th F1 car!!!! In 1/12 scale the Lotus 99T and in 1/24 scale the 1980 DRM winner BMW 320i E21, the Mazda RX-7 Le Mans 1981, the Peugeot 306 Maxi Evo2 and the Audi A4 BTCC.
Bristol 450 Lemans 1954 from Profil 24 in 1/24th scale. Rather advanced design for 1953-54. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I hope it's a lot better than their Bugatti Type 35. I'm tempted to get this one, but will wait to see photos of production pieces when it's ready.
