I think you misunderstood me. I'm not saying that I don't have never agreed to any privacy policy. I just haven't been asked to update it lately.

A video to tell the best customers that they won't see the car ... you had to think about it ... such a level of arrongance ... as if we were 10 years old.
    very infantilizing !
    but nothing astonishes me anymore.
The marketing ...a group of kids fresh out of school who have no brand culture ...
they are supposed to know what customers want ...comical...

Since we are all going all out on the goo'ey happiness as it were, congrats to my fellow recipients.

    Goo:cool:

Has anyone else thought about how they would want to configure their car?

Normally I always have some ideas, but dang, this time I'm drawing all blanks lol.

Same boat, man. Feels like Christmas every time Ferrari is about to unveil a new model. Hype through the roof!

".... a new model that will represent a breakthrough ...." ????

countless speculation on 'how many' but none on what the hell this 'breakthrough' could be? o_O
Probably something that makes you say: That's it? :( or no?

What could it be? v12 hybrid, cf tub, cf body panels? rear steer ? no, no, no. been there, done that.
Twin Turbo v12? 48 volt mild hybrid? 'stripped out ' interior a'la F40? some new tranny? Manual?! (not a breakthrough)

What are your guesses? Really hope it's not something trivial/stupid.

Yes. Got notice from my dealer a few times in the past weeks including a message this morning. Just haven’t received any emails. Maybe I misread a prior post, I was under the impression that the privacy policy update was somehow linked to this. I didn’t update it that’s why I asked.

Well how many cars do you own? Supposedly criteria was at least 5 cars + a limited. Also heard def. not 40% more units than TDF. It might be 5% more units.

    my guess:
Hybrid electric motor at transmission, boost power to 900PS +....

    that would be a 'breakthrough'

yes, I realize zero mules have been spotted with the EV warning badge...maybe they only tested that on their Fiorano circuit where no warnings required...

or maybe some new turbos at the back end of the exhaust that spin the transmission rather than being pumped back through the engine

so, that's 2 guesses for me

So I could have had 4 low end used California’s and a overproduced Pista and hit the list of 5 cars in the garage and all the other cars bought and been a top tiered customer. But no, I am an idiot and buy all their cars higher-end new cars and just have a $500k pista and $500k 812 in the garage now and gave the dealer $300k in money earned and Ferrarri a MUCH bigger chunk but rate only as a VIP. I already feel versione speciale

Luckily the Scuderia does not dominate the formula one like Mercedes! No customer would be good enough for them..

Only results count - if (which is likely) it works that way for Ferrari, only thing I have to say is hats off to them.

The wheels will turn quickly in the next 5 years, because future cars are going to be "digital", and once the novelty effect ends, it is not impossible that there will be more cars produced than customers...

Whelp, all I can say is that I have owned:
    550 Maranello
    458 Italia
    F12
    and currently own:
    458 Spider
    Speciale
    16M
    812SF
Have completed spec and awaiting build of 812GTS

    I have done Corsa Pilota.
Been to Daytona for a Ferrari race and did the concierge thing there.
    Been to Finale Mondiale.
    Toured the factory.
Did multi-day rally with the family that owns the dealership, and consider myself pretty close with the family.

    ...and...there isn’t a snowball’s chance in hell I’ll be offered an 812VS coupe.

I do not believe with future cars that they will allow themselves to select customers. Unless you dream of a battery-powered car!

Désolé camarade results are not everything.
I think humiliating clients is not a good long-term calculation.

It is almost never a question about just how many cars, unless you have some pretty choice stuff. And with this one I doubt 5 cars alone will qualify you. Maybe if one of your cars is a Classiche car and you have done a lot of drivers courses, but not five regular cars alone, even if one is a VS.

Buy a Ferrari race car, that opens doors:)
