It's been a long time we haven't seen anybody being banned. Ylshih is probably on a holiday trip and got trapped in the snow.

WOW how did I miss this thread.... while I'm certainly not a fan of his "social agenda", especially lately, its hard to deny the boy can drive..... yes he's in the best car, but that seems to happen to the best drivers, Clark, Hill, Stewart, Prost, Lauda, Jones, Senna, Vettal, and most certainly the German princess, but you can only drive what you are given... I think George Russel's drive in the merc last year says more about Bottas than Lewis. LH drive in Turkey last year when at least 4 other cars where quicker was all driver, same with Silverstone in the Mac in 08 (?) and many other races. Yes Max, Danny Ric, Charles and others would win in the Merc.... but would they beat LH on a consistent basis ?? maybe... hard to tell..... you notice not to many drivers say " its all car not Lewis"....they know what it actually takes... and i suspect for the next season at least we will see it again.
I would say that both Max and Leclerc will consistently beat Lewis over a season, several seasons. Ric would be over/under much like Button and Rosberg did. Russell still has to learn about pressure in top teams and what comes with it. He would definitely give him more of a challenge than whatever Bottas offers. Lewis is very consistent, certainly not slow. But not unbeatable.
Speaking of bans... here's another permanent one for you. @Romamore is not actually a lady, but is @The Strad trying to sneak back onto the site in drag after a permanent ban. All the best, Andrew.
Button was also partying quite hard when he was at McLaren. Which makes his season of beating LH at Team Hamilton even more impressive.

Consistently Fast.... No one is unbeatable..... love him or hate him Lewis rarely makes mistakes... Just like all the greats, Senna and Prost especially... Max and Charles are still a little hot headed, but they will get there..
This has been debated a few times before...it's easy to look faultless when your car is much faster than the rest. Max/Vettel for the last 7 years have been pushing like mad just to stay in sight of the Mercs, so it stands to reason more mistakes will be made. If we go back a few years to when Lewis didn't have the fastest car (2009-2013) he was making many mistakes. Has he matured or is the car advantage helping him? We can only debate or wait if he gets into a car that's not the fastest anymore.
Even Nigel Mansell stopped doing silly mistakes once he got his hands in a much faster car than the oposition.....Seb was almost faultless when driving the dominant Red Bull....if your car alone gives you at least. 5 sec per lap, you don't need to push over the limit, there is a bigger safety margin, and accidents are less prone to happen...just as simple as that.
