    I recently had the lever break and now have to remove the grill to open the Hood which is quite inconvenient,can some body help with a replacement or alternative repair,it seems to be made of very hard plastic

    I have yet to remove the lever but it appears that one end has broken away,I will have a go at dismantling tit this week and let you know

    After removing the entire lever assembly thanks to a very helpful post,I repaired the lever by gluing and making some stainless steel reinforcing plates as I was unable to locate a source of new or preloved parts,only after it was all reassembled including a complete cable kit (and working very smoothly ) did I find out about GT Car Parts new replacement version which I purchased to put on the shelf just in case !!...
