I’m unsure on adding Magneride to the Roma or not. Lots of posts mentioning how great it is in the convertibles, but is it as necessary in the stiffer chassis of the Roma?

I’ve driven a model without the Magneride and was impressed with the great ride of the “regular” Ferrari suspension. Is the ride/ handling significantly improved with Magneride?

Any feedback specific to the Roma would be appreciated.

I think it is necessary. It does make a difference and you will find that secondhand buyers prefer cars that have it. If you care about resale Magneride and Apple CarPlay are a must

Where r u located? Seems like in Europe it’s less important (could be wrong though) but here in the us I would add for sure. I have heard some say it doesn’t matter but I agree w George, better to have it for resale.

Magneride adds a great feature to the ride. It lessens the bumps. The ride is not as harsh especially on poor maintained roads.

We have Magneride on our 2013 California and we really like it. It's great for traveling on bumpy roads or over railroad tracks.

The Roma has a particularly good implementation of magneride than my 458 or even FF. Very effective at even substantial potholes and takes out the undulating pavement...

I like it but I don't think there's an option that is "necessary". Some dealers have more than one demo, maybe see if it's possible to drive them back to back?

When it comes to resale its a must, plus it very useful on normal roads. I would not buys a Ferrari without it.

It's very impressive - the demo I drove had Magneride, it made some of Houston's "finest" roads very comfortable.

Awesome, I’ve added Magneride to my order. Thanks everyone for the feedback, I really appreciate it.

This is why this forum is fantastic!

I don’t think you’ll be disappointed, like I said, I’m glad I have it on mine. Two things to know compared to other vehicles though, 1. To me, the difference between the softest and hardest settings is not extremely pronounced (which is a positive to me as many sports car soften up to much and don’t control the spring rebound at speed) and 2. It’s not independently switchable other than the bumpy road setting.

Whether it is a must, depends on you. For me it is. I think the whole setup is better balanced and feels more planted. It's not even about comfort, the car simply drives better overall.
