I have a 2015 California T Rosso with 20K miles and may trade It for a 2019 Portofino Blu Pozzi demo with 1K miles.
I really like my California but end of free maintenance scares me.
I am surprised to see a close to 50% dépréciation on my California T bought in spring 2016. Should I trade or not?

Most cars are worth less than 50% after 5 years.
$140K Dep & Tax cost you $7.00 per mile
    Next 5 years....
    Cali T 25K $1.25 per mile
Porto (used) $120K $6.00 per mile
"free" maintenance might be saving you $2500 over the next 5 yrs

In the US, at least, if you are planning on adding or renewing the annual New Power warranty on the 2015 car, there is an option called Main Power warranty, which adds the next year's annual maintenance to the car, I believe it's about $500 more for that over the price of the New Power warranty. Also, if you already have the warranty in place, I believe it's about $800 less to renew than it is to buy it out right. Steve at Boardwalk -- SAFE4NOW on here -- can probably clarify.

On the other hand, if you buy the 2019, you can usually get the dealer to add two years of warranty to it, and if the original warranty has not yet expired, they can extend it for 2 more years, and that would cover everything that the new car warranty does, and that's one of the biggest no brainers in the history of Earth ;)

Sounds like all/most of the 20K miles are yours?
If so, has the T been reliable? If so, I would keep the old car as it is more of a known than the new, demo car. But, that's me, I tend to get attached to my cars and keep them a long time.

The Cali T is at least 90%-95% the car the Porto is and costs about 40%-50% less. It's my math, of course. But last year I almost bought a 2019 Porto for 200k and eventually settled on a 2017 Cali T HS with 5k miles for 60k less. Once the Porto M will be on the road the Porto will catch up on depreciation which will likely be in 2022 and even more in 2023..

I will probably keep my California T since I really enjoy driving It.
Except for few drops in my driveway, I like everything of this car.

Sure Porto M has GPF. That's part of the reason they re-designed the exhaust system (no rear silencers) to try and get some sound back. Also allowed the new style rear bumper. I'd assume it'll sound like a Roma now.

i mean the regular portofinos not the M. Because the portofino I drove recently didn't sound as good as the California T HS. I'm wondering the reason.
