Lovely ! Mike Hailwood Dukes are very desirable. Bimota took the 900 Duke engine and put it in a better frame in the DB4.
The Jota is a beast in comparison, but I had to look for quite a while to find it !

My Commando was oil tight. The trick was to replace all the phillips head screws, that hold the engine covers on, with socket head bolts. They could be that little bit tighter and stay done up.

A '71 Fastback 750 with a Combat engine.

 

Rode it from the driveway to the man cave. Currently stripping it and sorting out a few things. It takes a while for the back cylinder to fire when i start it - I think it's to do with the starter circuit on the carby, possibly a blocked jet. I'll get around to it.

Must have been the late 70's - MH won the TT in '78, and they started the MHR's in '79. I'll be the least impressive rider of a Ducati in history.

 

Very light in weight compared to the period Japanese bikes .

About $1,400 new in 1970/71.
