I'm curious to find out if the 812 owners recommend or nix a suspension lifter.

Had a portofino with no lifter and all was good.
Added the lifter to my F8.
I'm at a cross road with the lifter of an 812.

Depends on your terrain. Why did you add the lift to the F8? Cheap insurance in my book, I use it every time I exit my driveway. Car stores last setting, "remembers" status for next time you start the car. It's a totally cool feature.

If you live in Nebraska, probably not needed.

Really a must have, cheap insurance for when a steep driveway or deep road contour or other presents itself, installing "skid plates" is not a suitable replacement.

Hands down the best mod. Especially if you live anywhere where it rains a good amount

Well over 4" (100mm) of rain today here in Morgan Hill starting yesterday afternoon, ~30 hrs ago.
They used to call it the Pineapple express, it's now called an atmospheric river. Good thing we have good drainage. 812 on high ground. :)

I use mine frequently, the AFS not so much but the lifter has been very helpful.

I can't imagine not getting a lifter on any exotic! I always check that box...should be standard.

I have it on my GTS and absolutely need it. I don’t have on my Roma and hasn’t been an issue. I busted one of the front air dam splitters off on my SF...it’s worth it

Strongly recommend as others have stated. I use mine frequently even though it may not be needed.

Had I on my. 458-all good
    Didn’t on my 488- bad
Have it on my 812- all good but when I forget to use it very bad-
Long front overhangs on these cars spells trouble without the lift even on the most mundane looking surfaces
That is why I will never order these cars without it until the Ferrari design teams eliminate the excess length fore of the front wheels

I've touched the front even on pretty mild transitions between parking areas and road.

Lift, lift and lift away from now.

I never need it around Indianapolis. When driving over roll curbing, I just angled the approach.

It's an absolute must here in Birmingham where I am at. My car barely clears my driveway entrance with the lifter up.

The 812 flies lower than the Porto, especially if at proper factory height. It also has more overhang.
Sucks to not have if you find yourself in a bind.

I finally gave in & have an 812 coming my way from Florida. One of my requirements was a car with a lifter. My experience with the 599 was enough to convince me of that

The first time you scrap the front, you will wish you did the lifter. Necessary for sure.

I prefer the lifter on all my cars. I enjoy the use of the AFS lights.

There are situations which I prefer not to angle or deal with. CF front bits are protected on my 812 and I don’t sweat it.

Classic example of confirmation bias: the people who have it use it and recommend it and the people who don’t have it swear you don’t need it.

For me is a must , I had it on my previous F12 I have it on my 812SF . It is too risky on many bumps not using it and furthermore I Have a parking place in a house I have on seaside that is below the house . It is so angled I couldn’t go down without lift , floor is touching the bottom just after driving seat

I'm a big proponent of the suspension lifter and I also add Scrape Armor to all of my Ferrari's. I live close to DC and many of our back roads are less than desirable. Having both the lifter and the Scrape Armor allows me to not cringe if for any reason I bottom out. Cheers!

I've been using Sliplo on my Lamborghini cars for a few years with great success. I have it on my 812 now as well.
