Your car is just awesome. I was in the market for a FF as a daily about 6 months ago. I ended up with something else. Keep me in mind when you are ready to part with it... depending on when that is I may make room for it. what color is your interior?
Just got an FF and on the hunt for an exhaust. Considering capristo exhaust and x pipes. How would you compare the capristo to stock with the valves open? Worth the money? Thanks in advance and sick FF!
Maybe 30% louder. when I order them Capristo was the best money / performance. Contact Rob Rohn at Vivid Racing he is the best.
In the first post of the thread you wrote, exhaust valves blocked. I thought you meant you had initially made the stock muffler to be open at all times
Rob is one of the owners of Vivid Racing. I'm happy to assist anyone interested with an order. Feel free to contact me via PM, email, or phone. -James
Well done! I’m looking to get some Novitec exterior parts for the FF.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I would imagine that if the ECU sees a speed difference between the front and the rear, it will assume some wheels are spinning, and try to correct by applying clutch even when not needed. In which case it would indeed overburden the PTU clutches.
Hopefully that's not the case. I was under the impression that there's constant slippage so that wouldn't happen. There should be many circumstances for having a speed difference due to different diameter, ie front and rear tires worn out at different rate. Certainly don't need the PTU to be further burdened.
This is indeed the case. The system can compensate within reason. The system limit is about 1.5 % deviation is what I have been told. That info came from a Ferrari tech, it was not guesswork from a third party. Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
