Hi Have completed the re-assembly of the front cover on my 575M and cannot find in the WSM the prescribed torque for the lower cam belt gear nut. Can anyone help ? Is it safe to assume they have to be tightened same as the cams pulley i.e. 98 nm ? Many Tks
I do not know the torque, but as the nuts are of a different type, I would not assume this. Did you read the Maranello Sorting thread from Moorfan, with input of several famous names? Maybe it is in there if you can't find it in the WSM.
Tks for your kind reply Robbe...yeep have been reading the whole lot, Moorfan, Cribby and Stevepaa posts. BTW many special tks to Steve which was kind enough to reply to my direct mails to him. Yes the are different. The lower are castled and self locking nuts. The pulleys are bolts.
When I need to find something in the WSM, I can't find it no many how many times I look. When somebody else asks, I can find it in 2 seconds.
