IMHO the only REAL Ferrari yearbooks... Much better than the 'lifestyle' yearbooks part of the Official Ferrari Magazine...

I know it's not Ferrari per se, but David Bull was recently running a sale on the Tyler Alexander autobiography. $27.50, great price given the quality of the book. Glad I picked up a copy. Figured there might be like minded anoraks on here.

I actually like the 'lifestyle' yearbook, as you call it, but I haven't seen any sign of the 2020 issue yet.

It's been there for a while though, with a blue SF90 on the cover (with a yellow alternative IIRC, I'm too lazy to find the posts where it's been mentioned -but i definitely have the blue one).

Indeed, the TOFM 2020 yearbook has been available for a while and can be obtained from a variety of sources.

Got my Pozzi English version book today, well written and deeply researched by Arnaud Meunier. I translated the book and added my 13 page interview of Jean Claude Andruet, one of the greatest of hundreds of interviews I carried out as he is as outspoken as he was fast.
An important book that was missing from any completist's shelves.

It covers Charles Pozzi the man, his racing career, his Ferrari importation business and the Pozzi team.

I went to Le Mans every year from 1980 onwards and walked along the entire circuit, not allowed, sneaking through the forests to the edge of the Mulsanne straight in the middle of the night when it was still an un-chicaned 5km blast. To watch and hear them storm by at full speed was a huge thrill as was seeing Pozzi win its class in 81: brilliant:)!

Re the " Ferrari 1000 GP Il libro ufficiale / The official book"
The publishers website (giorgio nada editore) and other vendors say " Made in collaboration with Ferrari Spa and available in a limited edition of 2,000 copies," but a copy I have just seen has 83**/8360 on the jacket, implying a print run of 8360 ? So are there different versions ? larger print run?

As far as i know there's a 'limited' edition of 2000pcs for publisher Giorgio Nada, a second run of 8360pcs for Ferrari (a.o. dealers, official Ferrari store...) 8360 for the total amount of GP-points gathered till the 1000GP. So, at least 10.360 (!!) copies exist.

    Speaking of Le Mans 81:

Here a little treat: the glorious 512BBLM that won its class at Le Mans 81 finishing fifth overall with Andruet-Ballot Léna.

It is shown here resting after victory with stone chip battle scars back home at Pozzi headquarters rue Aristide Briand in Levallois Perret. I took this photo back then when I was 17:) Other photos I took there in the same era are below:)

So next question (just out of curiosity) is, what's the difference between the limited edition and the unlimited one, apart from the mention of "limited edition"?

Good question getting seriously tired of the speculative limited edition degenerate nonsense: books are knowledge sources for all not oligarch coffee table never read baubles.

Another funny thing here is that the Giorgio Nada site reports the "2000 limited edition" as not numbered whereas if the xxxx/8360 is the "unlimited" edition and xxxx/8360 are actual numbers, this "unlimited" edition is actually numbered :D

    Bizzare, isn't it.
The Ferrari store says "Published by Giorgio Nada Editore and available as part of a limited edition of copies, each individually numbered," but omits to say anything about "8360" or why its significant.

Bloody deceptive of Giorgio Nada Editore and really left a bad taste in my mouth over an otherwise good company.

Initially promoting the fact that the book is a limited edition of 2000 copies and Ferrari Store also selling them listed as 2000 copies before they sold out online.

Then after a short time Ferrari Store resell them again online without any real mention of them being a second edition run and one of 8360.

So what people thought was a 2000 copy book has suddenly turned in a 10,360 run book !!

That's a massive difference. Hardly rare, collectable or rare. :( :(

Other then some fine print on the title inside page and an edition number on the spine they are vertically identical.

It's sh#t like this that really annoys me.

Just another company maximising profit at the expense of exclusivity.

The 308 rally car is interesting. Its gold wheels are one reason I had the wheels on my 328 painted gold, and everyone loves the way they look!

The 1000GP book was also a (Christmas) gift to the factory workers. One of the reasons they often show up on EBay etc. It is a nice book and a 'official' Ferrari publication but rare? Nope

Nothing new from Nada. Do you remember this book published by them? In just how many 'not for sale' editions is it published?? Nada published some nice books but hardly anything rare or collectable.
