    Thank you! The watch is so stunning, this is the first one I have ever seen in person. The pictures don’t do it justice. It also has a beautiful weight to it. Just enough to feel substantial but not heavy.

    Just wired funds for my grail watch. 5270j. Its gonna be a few months before it arrives and ill probably have them hold it for me so I will get it on my 50th birthday in August. But to say that Im excited is an understatement. Ive been thinking of this watch forever! I cant wait.

    Need to plan a special trip/reveal - something to make this happen.

    Lol. This is the watch I sold to make room for my 5905. It’s a spectacular piece. The one negative that I would say is I like larger watch is 42 mm because I have a big reason I’m kind of a big guy, and even though this is 42 mm that you have the face is a little bit smaller so that so it doesn’t feel like a big watch. That might be a positive or a negative. But they finish the dial the hand everything it’s stunning.

    The dark blue at night time almost looks black which is a nice thing because you can make it more of a formal watch which it very much is

    I think I have a candidate for the most understated Patek ... the 5078p ... 38 mm ... minute repeater ... I think a nice one second hand is around $330,000

    Could it handle a brighter blue strap like the one in the 5930g above? Or would that clash with the darker dial?
