    Hello,
My aircon fan will only operate on full speed (Max speed relay works 17), thus I think the fan regulator (19) is broken. Does anyone know where the fan regulator (19) is located? or has someone else experianced this issue and resolved it.

The regulator (fan controller) is very hard to get to

Thanks to Ryan (Avimax) for this pic. It's a 550, but the 456 will have the same locations. There is one bolt (or screw) which causes problems.

It’s doable to replace in the car, but not fun!

Thanks for the pictures and locations, I guess the hard part starts now, ha ha.
Is the fan controller know to give trouble, I guess it is solid state electronics?

How difficult is it to take the fan control out? It would be fun to change the speed of the fan so 1, 2 and 3 blows a bit faster.

    1 is not enough
    2 is fine
3 is not enough for continuos operation when it is very hot.
4 is good for immediate cool down, but impossible for continious operation due to the noise...
