We have a confirmed build slot, with the initial deposit already made, for one of the 45 Ford GT Mark II's. This is a spec-able slot with no restrictions on sale. Late 2021 delivery. Why would you go back to an 8? They’ve had awesome success with the 6 and no problems moving units. And now there’s an opportunity to tweak and perfect it for the mk2. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Why would that be a joke? The regular ones have been sold at 3x msrp. (Recently a 450k msrp one sold for 1.2 mil). There were only 1350 of the regular ones and look what they’ve traded for. There are only 45 of these being made and the msrp is approx 1.2 million. No reason to think these won’t be trading for a lot more than a 500k premium.
Does Ford not vet people on the list to buy one like Ferrari? Surely immediately flipping a highly limited Ferrari like a new Enzo, Monza, or LaFerrari (when they were first released) would surely black list you for life and possibly even result in litigation! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This is not a discussion thread. It’s a sales thread. I’m surprised the mods haven’t stepped in already. Brilliant car. Some rich SOB is going to be very lucky.
Our delivery has been moved up to July. As the Mark II is a race car, sold on a bill of sale, there are no restrictions on resale. Two have sold, that we know of, for MSRP plus $700,000. On Fchat, of all places, I'm surprised that anyone would question a car selling over MSRP. Especially in this market where new, Escalades, Corvettes, and Porsches Turbos are selling for $30k over sticker, not to mention F8's, SF90's and 812GTS. Manufacturers don't set the price with MSRP, the market sets it with what they're willing to pay. Also, as a poster above pointed out, the street cars, of which here are 1350, still sell for more than $500k over sticker. Anyway, our Mark II is available and deliverable in July. ... surprised at how many people don't understand ranking on the Web. Traffic, eyes on the Add count for much. Any active forum discussion makes the Ad more "visible." - not a bad thing.
My Raptor has a differently tuned version of the same motor. A V8 would make the nose heavier and reduce off road performance. I do not wish it had a V8, especially since my Raptor leaves a first generation V8 Raptor for dead. This is an amazing opportunity, but unfortunately out of my league. Can you imagine me towing this on my Futura trailer behind my Raptor to a track event? GLWS
