    Can anyone offer advise on buying a California? I have a 360 and I understand it's a whole different performance standard.

    In a nutshell: read as much as you can about the Cali 30 (2013 and 2014) on Ferrari chat; take your time; see and test drive if at all possible; get a PPI before purchase. There are many articles on here about the California 30 features and issues. Use the search box to find articles. Hope you're part of the Cali family soon!

    Another important point: find a well documented car. Oil changes and routine inspections were covered by Ferrari for the first seven years, so you need to look for this when hunting.

    I've have a 360 for 15yrs and a Cali 30 for the last two. The Cali is very different, I still take the 360 out if my Adrenaline levels need topping up but use the Cali much more than I ever did the 360.

    Things I've had that you could check for were:

    Rubber guide missing off roof so pillar scratched on roof opening.
    Sticky reverse switch caused a gearbox fault light (and palpitations)
    Everything squeaks a bit, roof brakes and belts.
    My tyres have died of old age not worn out
    The wheel repair foam was out of date

    Mine was a low mile car with full history and warranty, As you can see, the list above is really minor, its been a great car so far and feels really solid.
