I fully understand your point of view.
However, the weight of a car is largely conditioned by its size, as Gordon Murray is demonstrating.
No need for large and powerful cars to satisfy the ego of customers.
Its T50 will humiliate all hypercars on the market, be sure!
Ps : I can't consider the Valkyrie as a real road car.

If ferrari doesn't mean any more pure engine power, if ferrari no longer means desire and commitment to win in f1 I wonder what it means now. A badge with a horse, that's all? It certainly doesn't seem like Enzo Ferrari's vision to me.

PS: said by an Italian ... (che si è rotto i coglioni di vedere le mclaren andare più forte della ferrari con un fetente motore di derivazione nissan e diventare una barzelletta in f1... Questa te la traduci con google translate però ;) :p )

As a passionate of Ferrari , I consider the 4.7l V12 of the F50 as the quintessence of the Ferrari engine.
With its 520 hp it was not the most powerful of its time but what an emotion!
Ferrari is not just about numbers but something imperceptible that gives us goose bumps.
Just hope the next hypercar won't look like a lamborghini.

back in 95' 520hp was a quit remarkable power. Someway, as concept itself, the F50 was kind of a 765lt at that time (by the way 765 lt is not the most powerful/fastest car in the world too...).
Today an 850hp hypercar will sound like an 350hp car in 95', powerful, sure, but not so impressive for a milestone limited production hypercar car with the prancing horse. A car that will represent "the best of the best" by ferrari know-how for the next decade...

    Ciao.

Just to remind, the Lamborghini Diablo SE30, from 1993 launch, was 525hp from 5.7L V12...

If a very rich Ferrari client requests it, it might happen.

No way of knowing from this picture as Ferrari tests lots of ideas before they present a new product.

Where does this "no hybrid" gospel come from? It seems just highly unlikely after a LaFerrari and SF90 to go back to old school technology (not to mention a step back performance-wise).

All new street cars will be hybrid, and let's hope that the ICE will stay for a long time again. I personally followed with my car that mule in a roundabout close to the Factory (the big one where there is the via Michele Alboreto bridge over the Pedemontana highway) and it was driving in full electric mode with no sound from the engine. I even opened the window to hear something: no engine noise at all.

I don't know what car hides under that, but considering the shape I would say that's the new hypercar

    ciao

    PS
Here below where I saw it: it did all the roundabout in full electric mode, coming from the Factory and then took the Pedemontana highway towards Sassuolo (on the right in the map)

Was not aware he had a bridge named in his honour; very nice gesture there!

4.5 liters are so poor for a v12 (the single cylinder displacement of a fiat punto..)
Anyway...I still wonder when they finally use that patent on reality, not on paper only...
