I had a set of the lovely Schedoni but never actually used it as luggage. I looked around for modern, more usable luggage and could not find any. Then I came across Classic Travelling Luggage in the UK and found that they currently manufacture luggage for a wide range of classic cars (including the Testarossa) but not for Boxers. I inquired if they would be willing to make a set for me. They were willing to do so for around 695 pounds (about $950) for the two-pair set provided that I round up enough other purchasers to make tooling up worth their while. Accordingly, I am hereby soliciting interest.

These photos will give you an ideal of what the luggage would look like:

Obviously, one should not expect anything like a Schedoni knock-off. This is practical, functional, bespoke luggage that will fit neatly in the front compartment and behind the front seats.

The other Ferrari models for which they make luggage can be found here:

There are multiple choices of materials (Alcantara, faux leather, poly canvas, Harris Tweed, mohair canvas) and lots of colors.

If you are interested, please send a PM or contact me by email at [email protected]. Once we get a critical mass, I will let Classic Travelling know that we are a go so that they can tool up. You will deal with them individually after that.

Wonderful! Yes, Colin and his crew are a genuine treat to work with.

If you can access a TV show called Salvage Hunters: Classic Cars (it is on the Motor Trend cable channel), search for Season 3, Episode 5 featuring an Alfa Spider and a Renault Alpine. They do a 5 minute feature on Colin and Bag World in this episode, and it was this feature which led me to them.

They cost a lot, a lot less than the original luggage. 670 British pounds. I sold my Schedoni for about $5,000.

Does anyone know of a source for the original tan fabric dust cover bags for a BB? I could sew the fabric but cannot find any material.

Schedoni sells the bags for 80 eur with the F script and cavallino. They might give you the name of the company that makes them and they might sell you the material.

That said, I'm sure you can find way better for way cheaper and the color varies on the originals so ...
