It’s been a nice end to the week
Picked up my car from the paint shop - they did a great job fixing a few minor blemishes
Lovely Gullwing Mercedes in for a nose job
Drinks and a snack at a friends place around the corner was meant to be a 30 minutes visit with a couple of bevvies
Many drinks later and I have just arrived home all primed for a good night of snoring - poor Sarah

I hope Pat is ok too, I know he's had problems with run off previously. I've seen the Gold Coast hinterland is getting flogged!!!

 

Just scraped through - 200mm this morning. Luckily, the drains were clear, and we put a duck board across the pool gate, so the water builds up on the other side of the wall. The water that leaks through I madly sweep down a drain with a road broom - managed to save the pool, and the water lapped the front door, but didn't come in. From what I hear, we should be worried about Adrian.

Thanks Gary its pretty bad,never seen anything like this, cancelled work tomorrow, my nephews been evacuated and we are standing by, the nepean rivers out of control, its bizarre

Cheers Pat, we’re holding our breath, its all new to us, the nepean river has been high before but it stopped being a novelty around 2pm this afternoon when the surrounding parks and bbq areas completely disappeared and this evening whole streets are going.

 

I know Gary that bridge is getting hammered I hope they built it well

Thats good to hear, I remember you telling of the red mess you had a few years ago. I looked at the National radar yesterday and the rain was all up the east coast and into Victoria!!
All thoughts now with Adrian.

 

Sincere best wishes to everyone affected by the floods... jeez, if the apocalypse is coming I wish it’d just get in with it (droughts, fires, disease, floods...) this loopy world where nothing can be planned is driving me crazy!
