I’m U.K. based and am looking to replace all four tyres on my ‘07 Spider. I only use the car on the roads, no track, and would be interested in any tyre make suggestions anyone may have. Thanks.

I changed from Pirelli, found a huge improvement: wet & dry roads plus a better ride.

Just ordered up the Michelin PS4S’s for fitment the coming weekend. It will be interesting to see how they ‘feel’ compared to the current Bridgestones.
    Thanks for the comments.

Tony, a few of us have been playing with the pressures on the PS4S on 430, I have experimented in the 33-35 psi range. As the tyres weren’t around when the 430 was made .

Small differences seem to make a big difference. I have settled on 34 all round but still dabbling. It would be good to know your observations. Also bear in mind these tyres seem to take a while to really perform, a few hundred miles. Amazing tyres though.

Will 225's up front fit on a Scud wheel which calls for 235's. Scud wheel is 8" and the standard (non scud) size is 7.5. Would like to change the Cup 2 235's on my 09 Spider to a set of PS4s 225 up front.

The pressure seems to make sense… My car came with brand new Perelli P zeros when I bought it, so I’m just running through them and then will also replace with the Michelin ‘s.

For now, the tires aren’t too bad, and I found that 30 cold all around is great. These tires seem a little stiffer than Michelin’s

Hi, I will have a play around with pressures over the coming spring and summer and report back. What is very obvious to me is that the Michelins are so much better suited to the car than the Bridgestones that they replaced. The guy who fitted the new tyres reckoned that the Bridgestone rubber compound is significantly harder than Michelins resulting in a poor ride.
