Complete rebuild of a burnt 355

The last piece that we have been waiting on came for the front lower control arms and the front suspension is now complete. Check out the video below!

 

And a few photos of setting the front bumper in the general location it needs to be in before test fitting some tires to get ready for the car to be able to roll around.

Working on finding the complete rear suspension currently. Hopefully the next video will be ready in a couple weeks.

I believe Scuderia Car Parts has windshields in stock, or at least they did.

 

If there is clearance for it on that lower ball joint bracket you are making, you might want to consider running the two side wall pieces that bolt to the arm as one piece all the way around the ball joint opening. Looks like a weak point. That being said I am all for the hotrod approach on this, Going to be cool.

 

It's definitely a consideration I have and those will be a thing that I pay close attention to when testing of the parts starts.

 

I can't remember the site I saw them on off hand, but I have seen used ones going for about $1000-1200

The car is now a rolling chassis and some more of the major modification work will start to happen next! Deciding on which engine will be used and beginning the mock up process of the engine. It will also begin to get the modified front steering rack as well.
