458 differences in 2010,2011 and 2012

I can tell you that Ferrari is hopping mad at Getrag. It's the same box in the Mercedes Gullwing and they don't see the problems.

 

I don't think you can call a coupe a girls car, I don't think the laferrari, Enzo or say the mcLaren f1 are girls cars and they are all coupes. Coupes handle better and overall perform better. Also the speciale is a coupe, thats far from a girls car. A convertible is nice and bet the sounds with the top down is awesome but people have their preferences, me a coupe, but I wouldn't mind having another car in a convertible. Besides whom can say a Ferrari is a girls car in any form? A Ferrari if far from that.

 

He is messing with you. All of that is said in jest. A girl would never be able to figure out the POS radio.

 

I bought my 2010 458 in 2010. The car has been good to me. I never had any issues with the transmission or anything else that was mentioned.

On this forum it has been mentioned that the European nose regulation changed so the 2010 and 2011 cars have the best sound. I personally do not know. All I know is the sound and reliability on my 2010 has been very good.

Drive different ones and decide for yourself and report back what you bought and why

I did not call a coupe a girls car...I called it a sissies car. I know plenty of girls who are not sissies, my wife being one of them.

2 fits what I meant by sissie.

I realized after I wrote my response that you never said girls car, lol. But still a coupe a sissie car, come on. Okay I would love to hear someone tell an enzo or mcLaren f12 owner they have a sissies car.

 

I am holding my breath waiting for a "woman" to enter the fray (lol). I suspect there are one or two out their who view all of us as sissies, discussing taking our tops off or not. Any "girls" out there who want to partake For a good time join the forum. Best

 

I suspect it comes down to spyder buyers having a bigger need to show off. I suppose that makes us coupe owners "timid and cowardly" in their eyes. "Big Sigh"

 

Ill take my coupe, I have never had a passion for convertibles. I want the better performance car.

 

I think you have to go with what Jezza Clarkson said about convertibles when he reviewed the 430 spider. If you are old, ugly, or balding, do not get a convertible. Everyone will laugh at or spit on you. So Phil, drive the convertible, but for the sake of humanity, keep the top up

I think convertibles are for sissies. If you want a tan, go to the beach. But really, the only sissies who drive Ferraris are the ones who never track their cars, coupe or convertible.

 

Lol, is there anyone else you like to offend so I can call them all sissies too?

I left out fat, although that is often associated with old, ugly and balding. But fat is just poor discipline, you can't control old, ugly or balding, but if you're fat, you just have to blame yourself.

As an aside, I went shopping at All Saints for some jeans and jackets and at the ripe old age of 44, the salesgirl (who was very cute and looked about 19) said I was the oldest guy she ever sold clothes to that she would consider dating. Good thing I have a coupe.

 

She was a sissie too.

Anyone have a video side by side of a 2010-2011 vs 2012+ exhaust? How much louder was the 2010-2011?
