Yeah unfortunately for all of Ferrari's systems you need the SD1+

I use the BlueDriver personally...it's $100 CAD and plugs into your OBD port and uses bluetooth to communicate with your mobile device or tablet. You can monitor live data that way and reset and read fault codes.

The Murci is a non-merged system, the DTP, and while it has a higher pitch than other Murci's with a merge pipe it has MUCH more bass than the 575. For reference, Murci 60-130 is 7.66 seconds.

Video of it on the dyno. Made 612whp with the current set up and 666whp with headers.

The Murci has a bit more of a show associated with it

Erik- Or use the battery disconnect switch. Turning that off also resets the ECUs

Nick- Hopefully, that will be it for the CELs. Mine threw a random one well after the Fabio header install, but once reset has been fine. Just letting me know she is a female and needs attention.

Sounds great! When you say merged, you mean «no X-piped»? Obe of the best sounds I have heared was from a 512TR with only one muffler per cylinder bank. No X. :)

    Swapped the square 305/35R18 to F: 295/30R18 & R: 315/30R18.

The car is transformed with these. The overall diameter is 1" smaller than the 305 and .5" shorter than stock.
Which results in a more responsive throttle input, ride is more firm, noticeably lower ride height while driving. Cannot wait to do some data logging.

There is more fender gap (1.5 fingers) and the front tires are pulled inward so the sidewall bulge is flush with the fender and the shoulder is inside the fender (was shoulder flush with fender and sidewall bulge poking out). I am happy with the ride height as it is not as aggressive, but I don't have concern about the angle of the front wheels on inclines. . . which is important because the nose is significantly closer to the ground.

It looks really cool now with the low front. But how on earth can you drive in the US over the «recessed» pavements like when you go in and pit of gas stations etc.? Or in parkings with several levels? My 550 has totally original suspention and wheels, and it sometimes scrape «softly» with the front pumper in garages... I made a separate thread about installing a lift kit. And we found out that there is something called «air cups». You probably know about it. It is to install between your spring and the upper spring mount to be able to lift the car up in critical situations. It would be fun to add it on a car like this. And probably easier with your aftermarket suspention!

Taking aggressive angles on breakovers. I don't foresee any scraping issues with the 575 at this ride height.

This was the car the 575 replaced, the nose would have minor scrapes often, but large scrapes/dragging was infrequent as was laying frame on large dips on the freeway. The worst part was high centering on breakovers/speed bumps, including enter/exiting my parking garage. But I didn't find it to be too bad for how often/severe the scrapes were and it usually happened at crawling speeds. I could lower the 575 significantly more and be nowhere near the Viper's ride height. No light would shine under that car, lol.

The front bumper is closer to the ground than the wheels.

Looks much better without the square setup.

Something about the long bonnet GT coupe styling really needs a staggered setup to my eyes.

You should post how you did that for other owners who might be interested in aftermarket coil-overs.

Not Ferrari related, but found this relevant since it's my 'project' car. We just hit the dyno in my DeLorean and put down 487whp. For reference a Ferrari 458 put down 405whp (570hp) on this dyno, so it's a bit of a heartbreaker.*

Began dialing it in for corner balancing and it came in at 2724lbs with a full tank.

Needless to say, this thing is going to be rowdy.

Someone needs to take back the honor that the «Back to the future» car deserved. What you do is far beyond many manufacturer’s limits. Look at your thread!! Over 10 pages in a couple of months. You burn some money, but you do make history playing with those pennies.... Because this car should have been like this in the first place! Well, now it is like what it should be. I have a great respect for what you do. You understand the whole thing!!

Thanks guys! It really is burning money, but burning money on this stuff is so much fun. lol

The idea was to build something that looked stock to the untrained eye and had some power to raise some eyebrows.

I pulled the old clear bra the other day and dropped the car off to have the residue removed and a comprehensive detail, basically just shy of paint correction as I am not a fan of reducing the thickness of the clear coat. He put 12 hours in today and it will be finished tomorrow. But the shop owner sent these over and I cannot wait to see the car.

Hi Nick. The car is so cool! Personally, I don’t like the wrapped or clear bra’ed cars. The true finish is protected, but I rather want to see it... Better to detail it properly and put a ceramic coating on it. I haven’t done that and it is not easy to keep the «wet-look» I get after I detail and wax it. Let us know how the detail goes and if the finish last.
