Keith, you had me wracking my brain because it wasn't Landolphi's, but I couldn't remember what it was. I finally did, it was Lombardo's in Randolph, and they may have had one or two other locations. I remember they had a dinner theater there at one time and my parents went there to see Fidler on the Roof. Edit; Oh, wait a minute. could it have been the Lantana?
What a very American response. We can pretty much guarantee you don’t have to worry about another driver carrying a gun here in Australia. It’s a sad state of affairs when you have to live in fear of your own fellow countrymen Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
There's an expression in the US about people living in glass houses not throwing stones ...... assuming Australian police carry guns. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/excessive-force.632422/ Of course I will concede gun violence is significantly less Down Under, to wit, Crocodile Dundee's famous knife. Paul...maybe in was Gandolfi's? I'll see if Janet remembers. It was not an upscale place; they were famous for their lobster thermidor. Unfortunately my wife has almost no family left so we can't get legacy info. Janet used to say about Revere, her hometown: "It was half Jewish, half Italian, and half Irish!" Her Papere helped run liquor for the Kennedys. It was shipped in through Quebec, down through New Hampshire and into the North Shore.
Who says we 'live in fear'? Unless you mean fear of 'post mortem' litigation...? It's always preferable to de-escalate, but not necessarily due to 'fear'.
That story is WICKED AWESOME https://www.boston.com/uncategorized/noprimarytagmatch/2012/09/17/hackers-delight-a-history-of-mit-pranks-and-hacks TO the OP, someone is always having a bad day, has a chip and not giving the benefit of the doubt. Flush it and move on. Best advice Ive ever given and gotten- along with from the (BOSTON) former CEO of Beth Israel - don’t attribute to malevolence what can and should be attributed to STUPIDITY. Drive Tastefully.... I like that. Like my Drive it well. I am shocked @italiafan has never had that kind of hospitality. He must be blessed......
I was actually walking down Mem Dr in front of MIT in ‘94 and saw helicopters flying around...looked up and saw the “cop car” on the dome with lights flashing. Laughed my ass off. At that time I was at Harvard, and we were scared of MIT kids!
I attribute much of the antics I see on the road today to covid. Patience is clearly running thin by all. I get a kick out of the mad max shenanigans I see on the road... when I’m in my pickup truck. My F car will continue to reside on the backroads where it’s more pleasurable to drive anyways.
