Hello Fellow Enthusiasts, On the hunt for a well kept Yellow F355 Spider or GTS - with the Gated 6 Speed Manual and a clean carfax. Preferably a low mileage ‘97-‘99, but would consider a ‘95-‘96 with the valve guides and recent belt service completed. Oem wheels, Prefer black interior. I recently found a low mileage ‘96 yellow/black gated spider in North Carolina but I am having trouble with availability of the car as it’s on consignment and the owner is keeping it in his garage. Missed out on a higher mileage yellow/black gated spider previously owned by Ralph Lauren at Barrett Jackson over the past weekend as well. Please let me know what you have - Pm/text/call. On a personal level I don't like these guys. I went to see a 4S they had for sale and it was not showing clean as advertised and leaked oil. I dealt with the owner and he wasn't negotiable at all and had an attitude. He was dismissing all issues with the car. But they do have this for sale, but I would get a PPI by ferrari of Ontario. I looked at that one too. I'm on the West coast so was going to have friend look at it. The tax thing kind of made me reconsider. In Ontario it's 5% GST and 7% PST. Plus when I register in BC I pay another 7% PST. So basically $22K in tax. I don't mind paying my fair share of taxes but to pay 7% in Ontario for a car that will never drive their roads is NOT fair.
Thanks for sending those two- the one in Warwick looks nice, It says sale pending however I will check it out. The one at platinum cars also looks nice but it is an F1 paddle shift car and we are looking for a gated 6 speed manual. I appreciate the leads

Update to everyone- we have negotiated and come to a deal on the 9k mile 1 owner gated ‘96 in Nc. We scheduled the current owner to get it to the consigning dealer and I had a local friend go see/drive the car - it checked out. We will be moving forward with the deal and get it transported to Ca. Thank you to everyone !
Yes I had someone do a full inspection of the car and we also have the invoice of the recent 6 page $20k major service performed 8/28/20 and spoke to the head tech who performed the work as well.
