Portofino - anybody knows what this is?

    Hi,
    When I closed the rooftop of my Portofino yesterday, I found two small black pieces of plastic stuck together on the roof of the car, on the right hand side, close to the windshield.

    Photos attached... they look like spacers, I tried to open and close the roof to check if I could find similar pieces on the left of the car but could not identify anything similar.

    Anybody has an idea of what these are and what is their purpose?

    Very strange. I have a porto and obviously do open the roof occasionally but have never seen anything stuck on the top as in your photo. Suggest you ask the person you bought the car from. Could it be something that landed on the roof that has nothing to do with the car itself? Could be a spacer in the boot (trunk) but difficult for me to see as one has to be inside the car during opening and closing

    Once when I was closing the roof on my Portofino,a small piece of broken black plastic dropped on the passenger seat. Neither I nor the dealership could figure out where it came from. That was 7,000 miles ago,and the top still works fine.

    The car is brand new so I sent the pictures to the dealer where I purchased it. Sales guy shared them with the service department... They don't know either.
    When I have some time, I'll drop the car and they'll check.
