    I clearly remember seeing a slightly older model asking $75k and I was super tempted but didn’t know enough about them at the time. Hindsight.

    Do not feel too bad. There was a 250 GTO for sale for $7200 in the LA Times when I lived in Palos Verdes. Dad did not want an old race car.

    I tried to get my dad to get a 250 GTO that was in the back of R&T for $6800 in Beverly Hills. He looked at me like I was out of my mind.

    As for Ron. No F40, but there has been a pile of Ferraris. I stopped keeping track! Right now he and his wife are running 488 Challenge cars.
