Thanks! I was really hoping another F-chat member might have one for sale. Forgot to mention budget ~$150k
This may be short lived, but I feel like I caught the bottom of the 458 market just over 2 months ago.
Two months ago I picked up my red/tan 2010 458 Italia with 20,000 miles on it for $179k and mine was the most inexpensive in the entire country at the time I bought it. $150k and 10k miles is extremely unrealistic. 430 prices are also way up, meaning 458 prices go up too. I got a great deal at the same time 2011/20K/Pozzi Blu almost $300K build for $155K. Car was fully PPF'd and passed PPI with flying colors.
I remember seeing that car. Since this was my fist Ferrari I wanted red, so I paid the red/tan premium. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Big difference in price between a 10k mile 458 and a 20k mile 458. Red / tan premium ? By far the most common color combination is a red tan. Would think the blue pozzi color would be the color supporting a price increase , especially over red / tan Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
What I meant is I prefer a car with over 10k miles... one that has been driven. Mid 20's is great and I'd be ok with low 30's.
Just curious, do you mean that you bought it for $159k which was the listing price? It was a decent buy at that price.
mentioned here https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/had-check-in-hand-to-pull-trigger-on-this-458.552992/page-3
You're getting close the ask for one at Lake Forest in Chicago. Might try making them an offer assuming it's still available, since I think that one has been listed for a week or two. I don't recall off the top of my head since that's not a combo I was looking for.
while i'm sure this was said in jest, it's looking more and more like reality. everyone is expecting this bubble to burst but with ferrari's i'm not so sure.
I think the 458 is the most affected of all models, but certainly everything is up and may stay up. I wouldn't bet against the 458 prices staying high - which is why I've happily settled with a California 30 HS
