Thanks for the tip, 74dino !

Just a note of caution to everyone... I discovered yesterday that the relay/fuse modules (G2 & G3) behind the right hand seat are physically swapped on Spiders (and perhaps later model cars). I'll need confirmation on later model cars.

    Image Unavailable, Please Login

I used the graphic on the left (from the early model coupes) to construct all of my diagrams. For Spiders, I will have to redraw a lot of the diagrams to reflect this as it will confuse a lot of people. This could take quite a while, especially with the Instrument diagram  In the meantime, 3G can be identified by the missing relay on all cars in the top right hand corner (looking towards the rear of the car).

The other relay variations seen in the graphics are due to:

No rear window demist on spiders*
Later model cars had the air pump relay moved out of the module (probably due to heat generation problems)

It looks like some of the Dropbox links will expire soon. Perhaps a good thing until I get this problem sorted.

*regarding the rear window demist.... I can't see how the mirror heat is powered on spiders if you remove the window heat relay. Mirror heat uses the same power relay on the early coupes. There is what I thought was an anomaly in the wiring diagrams which showed the engine management sensor power feeding the mirror heat fuse. Now I'm thinking that the mirror heat is always on when the engine is running on all cars (but that is rather far-fetched).

I should have said, once the drawing is brought up you can save as a pdf using the print button. I'm using Google Chrome.

Spent all day creating Spider wiring diagrams. Available on request.

They will cost you one question about your car :p There are still some things I need to confirm.

I read in the Owner's Handbook that mirror heat has a 30 minute timer in the circuit (after the switch is toggled). That kinda disagrees with my theory that the heat comes on automatically. Still not sure where the system gets power.

Ugh... Found one wire in the wrong spot on my ABS/ASR diagram and had to redraw half of the diagram ...

    Updated ABS/ASR diagrams here:

    Spider:

    https://www.dropbox.com/t/IU9IhtBXewsM94yD

Coupe (early model)... not sure if changes were made to later models

    https://www.dropbox.com/t/Ftf2cRWG6PMYwze2

According to the wiring diagrams, the ignition key power going to the ABS ECU goes through the RH Motronic Master relay o_O

Updates on the Window, Mirror, Doorlock Control, Roof Power & Console Switches diagrams:

    Spider (only) :

    https://www.dropbox.com/t/kLXfp80QstzThyjN

Corrected some switch internals and added internals for the spider roof switch. Still not sure of the mirror heat circuit. The WSM makes no sense without a relay for heat.

    Coupe (early car):

    https://www.dropbox.com/t/CDz5D1SAI344Evo9

Removed references to the convertible roof and corrected some switch internals.

Sorry.. uploaded the wrong diagrams for the ABS/ASR yesterday (there was still an error in these).

    Spider:

    https://www.dropbox.com/t/P7R19BdfNCRo1ogy

    Coupe:

    https://www.dropbox.com/t/4RCC7al28gyHdZik

I should probably post these updates on the 36o forum so as not to annoy all the other folks.

Impressive work Ian !! Thanks a lot !!! How many days have you spent on them ??

BTW I can confirm that your diagram between connectors 16H and 17H is correct.

I lost count. 150 to 200 hours. Maybe more. Sometimes I sit in front of my computer for 16 hours a day (with obvious health side-effects). Fortunately, I've been able to use some of the graphics (and experience) from other diagrams I've drawn (F348, F355, 456, 550, Testarossa, 512TR...).

Brilliant! Thanks. Now if we only knew what was inside 17H (the mystery module with only black wires going to it). Is it just jumpers or are there any electronics inside?

Just realised that the Workshop Manual diagrams have the door connectors depicted upside down.

Have to amend 6 diagrams... First 3 here for the Spider:

    https://www.dropbox.com/t/GlJOtsEIuV71Js13

    https://www.dropbox.com/t/rrzATXGLQCCRi3NG

    https://www.dropbox.com/t/8cIX3YeZeBhX4ZLt

Other improvements include more switch detail on console panels.

The power mirror motor wiring is a mystery. There are 3 wires going to two motors. Polarity is changed on two of these wires to get up/down or left/right. Not sure which wires are attached to which motors.

Still awaiting details on Spider mirror heat power. The coupe provides mirror heat via the rear window heat relay. The spider, according to the diagrams, still has one, but it's not shown in the Owner's Manual.

Not just jumpers, it's a small ECU by itself, which functionnaly takes place in-between the alarm ECU and the engine ECU.
It manages encrypted dialogs with alarm ECU and engine ECU to transmit the start enable order.
It's beyond me why Bosch used this architecture on Ferrari cars. This small ECU is probably doing much more in other applications.

    yikes....

    Thanks, Eric

I noticed that this unit only seems to be (hard-) wired to the Right Motronic ECU. Does the F360 Immobiliser only inhibit one bank? Or are there other things going on (on CANBuses)?

That's correct, it is connected to the right ECU only.
If all is OK, the right ECU enables the start of the left ECU also through the CAN bus.

    Hi To everyone

I’m looking for wiring schematic for the 360
I brought a car where the looms have been cut and bunched up.
A total mess managed to get lights working but not much else.
Anyone got a any decent drawings I could use

    thanks

Did you download the official harness/plug diagrams that Taz posted here?

    https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/147662515/

They may take a little time to understand, but they should help with reconstructing specific wiring looms.

My home-made colour diagrams may help with a general overview, but some are still under construction.

    e.g. https://www.dropbox.com/t/37VPIAA47mbmhiwV

    Link expires in 6 days.

Do you have a spider or coupe? Which looms have been cut? Front? Rear? Cabin?

If there are a lot of issues, it may be best to start separate threads.

    Thanks Qavion

    much appreciated liking your diagram
Makes more sense to me. I’ve got the same as Taz.s download
Which has done my head in
I’ve got the 360 coupe with f430 rear and skirts fitted, a project that is taking a while to
    Complete
Luggage area wiring is ok intact. Interior wiring has been bridged and bodged up
    Engine side is missing,
I can buy/ build a loom just need a good understanding of the start to finish on the wiring.

    Hi all
Dose the 360 Modena and 360 spider have different wiring colours? / looms.
As my one has a mixture of both looms
    Colours changes at the connectors
Causing a few extra wiring madness

I have seen colour changes at connectors in the wiring diagrams. Some systems have probably been made at subsidiary companies and they seem to pick their own colours.

Here's the car/roof interface plug on the spider:

    Image Unavailable, Please Login

No wire colour matchups at all.

Components with short harnesses often have different wire colours. There are also colour changes at splices.

I only have a free Dropbox account and files are automatically removed after 7 days. Which diagrams were you after? Spider? Year?
