    Before Hamilton went off, it was shaping up to be a good fight. I’d rather have seen that but, it’s racing.

    Nice win for Max today - after the start there was no doubt for me he would win.

    A bit amazed at the recovery for LH and leads the title stats for now.

    Lando is the driver Stroll dreams of being - Driver of the Day well deserved!!

    Great race overall. Unpredictable via a touch of weather. Nice 2nd race for this season!!

    Clearly Hamilton’s car is significantly faster than any other car out there. After his mishap, getting a lap back and dropping all those spots, his car is at a different level than anyone else’s. It is sad a Ferrari can’t even get on the podium in their home country.

    Stroll nice quiet drive and valuable points, especially with the car problems they were experiencing. Kimi in the points...penalty possibly incoming though..

    Lucky Lewis strikes again, what an incredible lucky career the guy has:

    - Lewis messing up the 3nd corner after race start causing him front end damage;
    - Mercedes messing up a pitstop, 1.8 secs behind RB;
    - Lewis spinning while overtaking back markers and ending up in the gravel, causing a > 30secs. delay

    And because of a red flag he's still able to get to a podum finish, in 2nd even, you can't make it up.

    The red flag and second start wiped out most of the time he lost before, and he still ends 20s behind Max's Red Bull - so not sure the Mercedes was "significantly faster". I think the Red Bull and Mercedes are well matched, the other cars (Ferrari included) are a clear step below (the Haas maybe three steps below...)

    Tire management and drs. Same formula for all. I thought Norris held him off well with worn softs tires vs Ham on the mediums.
    Right??!

    Personally don't agree with Norris driver of the day choice. First part of the race he f'd up the start and only got past slow Ricciardo because of a team order. Then those **** mercs put on their clown show, that helped McLaren massively. Don't know if Ferrari should had opted softs for Charles on restart, hard to say if he could have defended Norris the rest of the race (Merc engine was another level to anyone else). Ferrari had McLaren beat on a track where the papaya car was faster. Gutted we have amateurs like Bottas ruining races.

    Man, Lewis is an “old guy” up there. Not as much spring in his step as Max and Norris.

    How quickly time passes!

    Fantastic race. Congrats to Mad Max!

    Ferrari did reasonably well, actually fantastic compared to last year. Obviously driving again with 100 kg of fuel this year.

    Great job by Hamilton, who also got super lucky thanks to the red flag.

    Russell and Tsunoda looked like amateurs. Perez didn't shine, nor did Mick.

    Now look at the amazing recovery !

    Hamilton didn't lose his concentration after the incident; instead he climbed through the field to finish 2nd.

    +1 on the Russell. Bottas driving the normal line. Russell touched the grass. Sorry but thats your fault. Perez messy.

    Tsunoda was very disappointing. I should close his thread I started LOL :)
