    But do you think
But would Ferrari use a name that has become almost synonymous with special Mclaren models? Just a thought...

Imola IS more likely. For another car. THIS car ... the 812 VS ... is going to be named 812 GTO.

Everyone can stop speculating. I have spoken.

The tail looks quite similar to the rendering and last mules of the VS, and there is no roof...

If not the VS, couldn’t it be the VS Aperta?

Impossible for it to be the VS. Yes, the VS does have exaggerated tail end but not remotely to that degree. The proportions in the video appear whatever it is beneath the cover to have almost a wedge like shape to it. If anything, it's reminiscent of the shape of an old Can-am racecar with the sharp, low nose but ultra high rear wing. I honestly haven't the slightest clue though.

Looks mid engined to me, and has a massive wing.. the rumored Icona F40 perhaps? Or as the video suggests the LMH car (but isn’t too early for that?).

Somebody in thread about x40 pages back said it would be called USA, which personally I think is an absolutely awful name for any car never mind this...

Yesterday though I noticed a new detail on the nose of the F1 car for the race that wasn’t there for qually, I am trying to find a better picture but it looked like a very small USA badge on the nose of both cars....

I hope I am over thinking this and reading way too much into this and my paranoia is getting to me and I am completely wrong...but if it is a USA badge, why ?

The best name for the car is GTO for me....

I think "USA" name is a just a speculation. If Ferrari wants to pay tribute to the United States by a hardcore model, they would call it NART.

Just so long as it’s not the 812 Shell Premium

Although, the 812 Kaspersky has a unique ring to it

They might also call it "America" or even "Superamerica" - both are historic names, and link nicely to "Superfast". But I don't think this is the case...

IMO Superamerica is a real good historical name but more for a GT model as the 575 SA paid tribute in 2004 or the F60 America in 2014.
