Well, she likes every car the manufacturer allows her to put her but into! Its soooo easy to praise something - but when you critizise something you need some knowledge about the subject in question. She has no knowledge...........
They are trying to act like punk ass social media American's(with atleast 5 tattoos each), strange. What I got from that video is if you put the trident and Maserati name on the car enough it will look like a Maserati. Sorry, still looks like a Porsche 918 with Maserati logos and grill on it.
Gabriel, the likes all cars she`s sittin`in! Would not wonder if the is paid by the manufacturers......
Yes, I suppose that is part of how things works, Walter. But, it doesn't mean it is not effective marketing ... and it would be nice if the MC20 attracts a wide audience and customer base.
No doubt about that. But Maserati itsself is not a master of clever marketing and PR. They should improve this very soon. For example: while Ferrari made a video clip of 2 (!) Roma, driving on the roads of the Italian capital, Maserati did not publish propper driving footage of the car (yes, there was one in the dark but this was not very helpful) so far. And: the website for the MC20 still shows the -what I call- "white bedsheet" clip. Quite booring. etc., etc....
I agree and really hope Maserati doesn't stumble on marketing the MC20. For a start, a different name should be considered for the production car, since a name associated with a year will inevitably make the car appear old (in a market sense) rather quickly... I know that Maserati has used year as part of a model designation a few times before (for example Tipo 26 and A6G/54), but I do not really see that as a good justification for doing that this time around.
In my opinion the name MC20 is rubbish! Why not "Alfieri" or "Musso" etc., etc....! Ferrari has here a much better sense for their great tradition. But what can you expect from a manufacturer that gives a 4-door business carrier the name "Ghibli", a name that once was a sports GT-car design icon....? And don`t forget: they first announced to launch the MC20 in April last year and moved it -due to the COVIT-19 situation- to September. This means they had 5 months more time to think about a -better- marketing, etc.
Thanks for posting the video! Provided the first real sense of what the car is capable of. The guy seemed to really enjoy himself and was running out of superlatives to describe the car

I love the ‘Boraesque’ silver roof treatment. Quite appropriate in its 50th anniversary week Forza Maserati!! Best to all. Mark
The factory test driver hanging number plate indicates it is a just off the production line test. They are probably having lunch or running an errand.
Yes, you are probably right, Marc. I was wondering which market it will be shipped to; UK, JP, AUS...? It is RHD. My guess would be UK.
Maserati says September. Remember that it was originally scheduled for a May 2020 launch and that COVID in Italy is out of control. So it’s already a year and a half late, and I think that September is optimistic. You might be able to buy one and have it flown in. Matt
