LOL. No, that's my point. I'll re-phrase it: The stock price is the outcome of the equation. Good, bad or indifferent, your single experience doesn't change a thing. It is the totality that matters. Ferrari's stock price is a reflection of the larger picture that indicates that Ferrari is a successful company and a worthy investment. Couldn't do that without enough (key word) satisfied customers. Even in the modern era of hyper-competitive supercar manufacturers, Ferrari is killing it. Why? Easy answer. Enough satisfied customers.
Think the focus and news are on the 812VS since the reveal is upcoming. Hopefully we’ll get more news on the LB. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Great acceleration and handling was incredible, but for everyday use it became an issue with Range as I drive more than I thought the hassle factory would be. Big issue with the Interface and dealing with Car Play and Media. Even after the 24hr Software update, I guess I am used too the ease of the I Drive in my BMW's and the constant waiting and Function not available got on my nerves.
Yes BMW, I have a M2CS as a daily city whipper and totally love it, even adding an M5CS now - they do an amazing job of tech, drive, comfort. Anyhow back to the Taycan, yes capable my neighbour has one and I chuckle each time I see him with service loaner.. those Taycans need a good 1-2 years to really flush everything out and I think they will be a win for Porsche. I don't drive far so I think it would work for me but I still love the ICE right now.
It is almost like they needed more time to get the Taycan out, my biggest issue besides the range is the problems with the interface and the length of time you have to wait for instance for the Media to pop up, or reversing the Camera does not work and it reads Function Not Available, or worse of all the Home Link not popping up as it is on a screen instead of a button. I had 911's as daily cars and never had these issues. Anyway, I just got a BMW M850 Gran Coupe to replace it, so far so good. M5CS is a beast and the M2CS is a little gem, congrats!
Must be a VW group thing. My wife has an Audi etron and hates it. Worst interface in the tech only ever. You use the navigation and it tells you where all the gas stations are. Idiot engineers too lazy to reprogram the Nav on an electric car to remove the gas stations. every time I use the voice control to dictate into my phone it tells me that voice activation is limited in function. And then I have to press resume or cancel. Every! Single! Time! Worst car ever!!!
Exactly, the worst was not being able to find a Charging Station and when I did it was full, started sweating bullets and had to call Electrify America that sent me to a location 8 miles away when I was down to 20 miles left of a charge, in addition to the BS with the Voice Recognition, etc.
She contemplated trading the Etron for a Taycan but went to play around with the tech and hated it. I’m trying to get her into a gas car- urus would be awesome. Maybe the “gasp” Purosangue later when it comes out. But all these cars have stupid tech that is useless. I long for an analog radio and manual everything.
Unless there are no more ICE cars to buy, I'm staying away from EV's as long as I can. My life does not need range anxiety. Lol.
Hybrids won’t give you range anxiety. Full electric will but with so many EVs coming the charging infrastructure will catch up.
And that’s Tesla’s win for now. Stations everywhere, and tech that works. I’m addicted mostly to the ease of the nav, voice, menus etc. and the carpool access. analyst said VW group in reality is 6-8yrs behind Tesla.
Tesla wins the interface, tech and charging ease. Maybe we will try an S someday. Hated the X. Hybrid is a good solution if reliable. I’m looking forward to LB to see how it is all implemented. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
That is consistent with what I have heard. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Nothing ethical. its not like she is a tree hugger. She could care less. She just likes the fact that she doesn't have to go to a gas station to fill up. One less thing to do.
