FF - How to check the air filter for the AC?

So from time I get the smell from outside more or less direct. I can not recall I had this behaviour in the past 4 years I had my FF. So I start to wonder how and where the air filters are placed or mounted. Any thoughts?

 

Any ideas how to access this cabin filter?

Anyone knows if it is active kind of, and eliminates smell? As I wrote, I can not say I have had the issue with smell (from the outside, not the filter it self - someone smokes outside and I drive thru that smoke, I will get that smell from that smoke into the cabin - the same for street food smell and so on) the previous years I had this FF....
