I’ve done, I’ve absolutely killed the value on my 812 SuperFast 8 months into ownership. Totally worth every second (and cent of depreciation)! If you aren’t driving your car, the ghost of Enzo is upset with you. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
awesome to see! I’m on track for big miles too, but not quite as impressive as you...4K miles after 6 months on my 812 GTS. I won’t ever sell it so I don’t care about mileage / depreciation. These V12s are built for big miles... I’m gonna be the first to take a GTS to 100k miles!
I generally don't drive in actual Seattle much, just because I live outside of Seattle. However media coverage of it is largely overblown in my opinion. Though if it keeps more people from moving to the area, I won't complain
So glad to see posts like this. You can’t take it with you and garage queens are a complete waste of time. Mine has just arrived, PPF is being completed then let the miles and good memories begin! Fine time pieces don’t belong in safes and Ferraris are meant to be driven!
Mine is my year round daily driver, and I expect to put at least 10,000 miles on it this year. These are not financial instruments, they are exhilarating exemplars of the automotive arts, and their purpose is not to hold value but to deliver thrills and joy behind the wheel. Drive on!
Oh had me worried there. A friend here had one totaled a few weeks ago with less than 500 miles on it:
That is awesome. Good for you. I have driven mine now a handful of times since getting it delivered and I cannot believe how much of a duel personality this has. It is comfortable and a monster at the same time. I am going to enjoy mine like you!
Indeed they are! I bought mine to drive and take with me to my grave. I won’t ever sell it, so I don’t care about what it’s worth in the end. The smiles are what counts. That really sucks. I feel bad for your friend. Hopefully they get another 812 and can enjoy it for many tens of thousands of miles! Fortunately got me, mine is only ruined from a resale perspective lol. Yes! They are extremely easy to drive, but can turn into an absolute monster when you want to push it. I love it, maybe the car needs an addiction warning label.
Cheers! That's how it's done, SS. I have a 2020 Superfast approaching 8K miles and a 2018 488 approaching 18K miles. AFAIC, their value (to me) has only gone up.
I bet if you slip your service guy a couple of Bennies, he will wipe a zero off that number for you. Value restored!
Since english is not my first language (I mean I didn't understand the sarcasm about the car being ruined) and since I don't use Fahrenheit , Can a brave soul explain me the subject of this thread ?
@SeattleStew is joking around that he has ruined his car because of the common misconception that a high mileage Ferrari is bad.
Royalty Exotic Cars, Las Vegas exotic car RENTAL company. His Youtube channel is 75% about his fleet cars that have been crashed or stolen. The renters insurance pays for damage PLUS loss of use. $$$$. I'm sure he charges Ferrari dealer repair prices, but fixes most stuff himself in his own shop for cheap. Chances are the car will be crashed again, anyways. .
