I used to own a 1967 corvette 427 convertible and currently have a 1978 pace car L-82 4-speed in my garage I just bought a 2005 F430 and need to sell the 78 pace car......
Ouch, that stings a little, but as I said, I just bought a 2005 F430 spider red/tan with 6,400 miles on it I do like the new corvettes and for under $100k they really are the best sports cars on the road, but decided that after owning about 5 classic corvettes, it is time for Italian, but I am not in a position to spend $250+++ on a newer one. In reality, I really love the F430 and can always get a 458/488 in a few years My goal is to not lose too much money.......
I think C1 and C2 Vettes are well established collectibles now and a safe bet for appreciation. Provided you buy the right spec they're a great driving car and wherever you go, people love it.
idiot: Fuel injection, 4 speed manual close ratio, leather seats , window tint, p/windows, 375hp motor, 36 gallon tank, highway diff ratio, F40 suspension package,
If didn't have the E-type I'd have a well set up C2 Corvette as my fun car .Very impressed by Ian's car .You tie 'em down and they handle
Ian’s car is gorgeous especially hearing the engine notes when you are behind him. I must admit his 575 with the x pipes produced an incredible V12 sound...
