I'll post more pics later, but finally got the Stinson back from Annual and upgrades and of course the day I pick it up it's 360@18/25. Couldn't be clam... Nooooooo. Here's us bouncing around in my buddy's V35 headed up to pick it up. Willie, a former Top Gun instructor pilot, learned real quick what the "V-Tail Wag" means! Even smooth air the tail is like a lost puppy finding it's owner! Cheers Dave Image Unavailable, Please Login
Journey home done! Next week it'll be a landing competition with a seasoned tailwheel guy so I'm sure to learn a lot. Great to have it back! Cheers Dave Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Thanks Dave! At our local airport, we are often greeted with "Hey it's 8FU! Good Morning!" by the Tower. ...and given how memorable our tail number is, NY Approach has been quite accommodating going through JFK's Bravo airspace...even chit chat with us on occasion.
Last week I bought the true SE Ferrari of the sky (at least top speed wise...) Fitting it with a 4 blade MT prop as well to pick up a few knots. Ok very few- 4. Image Unavailable, Please Login
That's a 400 right? Did you change the color and pattern? Austin Meyer, creator of X-Plane had two of those for some reason at the same time. I flew along while he developed auto-lander. Isn't that the best 4 place certified ever built? Too bad they quit building it, that would be my choice today. Austin loved his until he got the Evolution. https://www.flyhpa.com/cessna-400/ https://www.aopa.org/news-and-media/all-news/2007/october/01/columbia-400
