Isot.....Thank you so much for your amazing renders!!
We will know more on May 5th. Previously Ferrari had stated publicly that only Icona would be limited by number. Monza was over £1m and eventually sold out. There are plenty of SP cars in the pipeline and the LaF replacement will be much more expensive that the LaF and also limited by number. Those are the really exclusive cars and priced and allocated accordingly. I know many have spoken about the numbers for 812VS and Aperta but we cannot be certain it will actually be limited by number. The Pista was also sold out when first announced - dealers had finite allocations which ultimately expanded and everyone who wanted one got one but the “sold out” launch kept up the hype. If Ferrari does indeed limit the numbers then why price at $600k when those cars will be worth 150% or more immediately on secondary market? Why piss off loyal customers who can’t get cars and leave so much money on the table? This doesn’t gel with their stated strategic objectives. I also can’t understand why the drip fed launch - including the pre-announcement this week rather than just launching the car. I suspect Ferrari are feeling out the market and don’t yet know with certainty how many they will produce. We shall see... Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Love the renders @isot - thank you. I am getting so used to the coupe and everything about it. Very curious about the Aperta but something is telling me, the coupe is the one!
If Ferrari intended NOT to limit the car by numbers - why go through the charade with the video sent to only specific people? If I was entitled to one and got the video and subsequently found out it was not a numbered car I would not be happy ....
same reason SF90 launch was private, invite only...no difference, top clients get first invites and that's what would of occurred if not for the current situations... no one has paid for one of these cars yet, they don't exist, cannot be spec'd, cannot be ordered... a deposit, sure, but that's refundable... and I think the SF90 at one point was propositioned to be limited numbers (coupes/spiders), unclear if that actually happened..
always thought that the SF90 was never going to be limited but anyway. I still believe it will be numbered as by all accounts if its not then dealers would not be talking such limited numbers and already be giving other customers false hope of a car
Something looks wrong with the dimensions of the TDF in this render. TDF looking downright ugly in this pic. Gotta compare good quality angles and proportions since all pics of the 812 VS are optimized due to them being renders and not a real car.
I share your comments - my personal opinion from the start is that the car will not be limited by number ie no plaque we shall see
The red 812 VS is a render but the TDF is cloned from a picture of a real car. The cloned picture once applied over the background always shows some distortion. Below you can compare the render of the red 812 VS with the render of a yellow the TDF. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
May they take advantage of playing a little more with the customers, because soon, very soon, I can assure you, they will come and pick you up at the house to sell you one of their upcoming digital cars ...
If SF 90 is an indication of where things are going ... this is more true than they would like to think ...
Please no! I already sense that Ferrari marketing will soon convince us that we should own Ferrari NFTs while they sit back and dig into their archives to "re-release" limited editions of digital vaporware representations of their cars. We will all be sitting here comparing whose 0s and 1s are sexier, all while being chauffeured around in our electric, point to point self driving cars.
Already underway...just not from the factory, yet... https://www.autoevolution.com/news/the-ferrari-modulo-concept-car-emerges-in-trippy-nft-artwork-158344.html
Funny how we are all salivating over these renders and photos... In the metal it always seems to look better. Can’t wait to see it in the flesh. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
