Ferrari in Camera , the register

This one is in far better condition.

 

I noticed while I was buying my copy of FIC the condition and any packaging supplied varied greatly between the books but didn't really effect the price very much.

They were all equally expensive.

I was lucky enough to find a perfect copy, with all the packaging at a reasonable price.

As for packaging, my red copy (bought new) came in a large white carton. No indications of content in the box.

Interesting, my red copy came in a more traditional Palawan packaging.

 

I trust you both keep them on your bookshelves rather then in their postal packaging.

(by the way, I love your Nicholas Watts Schumacher print too, I have collected many over the years).

 

haha yeah, I have a bit of book fetish, sadly for my heirs thats just one side of the book room.

 

Yes I remember you posted a few photos of your amazing book collection over 10 years ago.
I'm sure it's grown a lot since then.

 

I'm also in trouble. I keep most of the exclusive limited edition books in their original carton.

 

It came in this box straight from 'Autoland'

 

The Red copies are very well made, hand-bound and with a high quality buckram.
A shame that that shop ceased operation. I don't think there is any specialty shop left in Holland.

 

Indeed, no shop left. Just a few online shops. But no place where you can feel, touch en look at books while enjoying a good coffee and some smalltalk.

 

This our 'online' world now, unfortunately not always an improvement.

 

Agree, nothing like a physical bookshop to go into and spend a few hours flicking through some amazing books.

 

I think I remember reading on Palawan's site many years ago, that the remaining copies of Ferrari In Camera were re-bound, perhaps those were the red covered copies.
