    Recently I find the Individual Classified section of Fchat becoming overrun with "Wanted" ads rather than "For Sale" ads which I think detracts from the main purpose of this section.

    IMO there should be a separate "Wanted" section and was wondering if anyone else agrees ?

    yes agreed.
    makes sorting through it more difficult.
    would be easier to match up buyers and sellers too.

    Do you think this in any way would decrease the activity and value of wanted ads? I think the benefit of a wanted ad is that it is next to the for sale items. Seems most people view for the items on sale so not sure a wanted forum would get much traffic and thus use

    I agree with you, they should make a new forum. This way you go to the for sale form to find cars for sale. And the wanted form if you want to find someone to maybe buy something you have.

    Nice, I didn't realize you could filter. Does that work for watching a forum? I know I've been disappointed many times to get an email notice of a "new car" listing only to see that it's a wanted post.

    the only thing that annoys me about the classified section is that car(s)/item (s) displayed on the main page are not noted as either "for sale" or "wanted" until you go to the classified page. It would be helpful to know that info up front.

    As for wanted and for sale being mixed in together on the same classified page, I think the color coded for sale, sold, wanted system works well. IMO wanted would get much less traffic if it was on its own. When I go to look what's for sale I might come across someone who is looking for something I have. Nice to have them in the same place.
