I took my F12 for a local track day since my usual track car was down for maintenance. By the second session I had boiled the brake fluid. It had been flushed by the dealer a few months earlier and stored since.

I suspect the the standard fluid doesn’t hold up to track use. What fluid would you recommend that’s compatible? Thanks

Bump. I run Castrol SRF in my GT350R and it is stellar but have never tracked the F12. Having boiled brake fluid in the Shelby before, I look to avoid your fate and wonder if others have used Castrol SRF or similar and their recommendations.

Castrol SRF is still the benchmark in racing brake fluid.

Over the years I've had very good results (disclaimer: non F-cars) from both Castrol SRF and Motul 600. I would change to fresh fluid at the start of the season and would go 4-6 two-day track weekends over the summer, then the rest of the year on the street, with no issues.
