Hello Guys After sitting on the fence for too long and making a wrong decision in choosing a Maserati Granturismo MC Shift over several other cars including a 612 some 6 Years ago (yes I know I know...), I have now learnt my lesson and am pleased to say that I have today, in the English summer rain, picked up this beautiful 2005 20k mile 612 in Grigio Silverstone. I absolutely love the style and the way the car drives and look forward to posting on here in the future. Hope its not too cheeky as a newbie, but is it possible somebody could send me the link etc to the workshop manual please? Many thanks in advance! Neil. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Beautiful enjoy it and the Sun is coming but unfortunately it’s not as quick as your 612. Enjoy in good health Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Beautiful car, similar journey, dithering and nearly bought a gran tourismo. Joined this cult and they showed me the right path. Just wish I’d done it years ago. Enjoy!
Thanks for all the positive replies guys, much appreciated. Just need this damn rain to stop so I can enjoy the experience fully!
You mean it rains in England? After 6 years living there, I guess I should have figured out that one. Silverstone looks great on 612s.
Neil183 did you know the bolts that hold the wheels together are titanium, another member posted details of the wheel options. Handy for pub chat when sheltering from the rain.
Ha! No I didn't know that, I will spread the word tomorrow as im away golfing with some Mercedes owning friends and gauge the responses!!
Congrats Neil. I’ve owned my 2005 TDF Blue 612 for 10 years this month. My enjoyment extends beyond the 7k miles I’ve driven it this past decade. I have no doubt you will enjoy owning your 612. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Hi Neil! UK here also in Pinner, Middx. so not far from you. Thinking about making the leap into 612 ownership myself. Imagine you learnt a bit in the hunt for your car so any tips very gratefully received...! best Robin
Hi Robin I wouldn't exactly call myself an expert, but I am up to speed with the current marketplace and would gladly pass on what I have learnt if you like? Not sure what your timings or budget are, but check out the 612 in this weekends Ferrari owners club GB Silverstone Auction, if it goes for the estimate, I would say that is probably a cracking car. (There is also a great review on Harrys Garage on YouTube worth looking at). DM me if you want to discuss further? Cheers Neil.
Hi Neil, congrats on the new car, the 612 looks lovely in that car. Very underrated car. I have owned a Blue 2005 612 for the past 12 mths. I am up hear in Birmingham, West Midlands, just found out the 2005 car is exempt from the new daily congestion charge here as it is a Euro 4 engine, Phew!!!!!
