The base picture used for that red TDF I posted was taken from DK engineering that is a source of quality photos I trust, therefore it never crossed my mind that the cavallinos could be reversed. After reading your remark I realized that even a company like DK that has a very deep knowledge about Ferraris was fooled with that picture.
    Below is the correct picture…

Love that! It's like the 60F1 599s younger, more extreme brother!!

Go for the darker Rosso Storica (sp?), the biggest painted shields you can get, and you have a winner.

Im beginning to wonder why we haven’t seen the CF targa top of the Aperta ...... could it be that they are finalizing some aspect of it??? I’m hoping there is a “double bulge“ like the Zagato cars of old .... it would hopefully improve the aero over the new buttress spoiler behind the drivers head but also add a snazzy element to the lowered roofline.... We will no doubt find out v v soon ...

Also , I haven’t seen/heard any definite ideas of delivery timelines..... surely we will see an 812C and CA in the wild in Monaco this July /August .... even if only as ‘placement in the public eye ‘ cars ...As seems to normally happen ....

..But the NA V12 ICE engine has reached its limit of performance..

Ferrari knows losing the NA V12 would be a catastrophe for the company and that fact will drive innovation. You still buy the engine and get the car for free.

Nope, the Tipo F140 has reached its limit. Time for a new design then. ;)

BTW, even a hybridised N/A V12, would qualify as a N/A V12 (sound, power delivery etc), so no reason to fret.

I did not say F140 but rather NA V12 which the interview describes as continually increasing in torque and power. In contrast with others continually stating the end of ICE is here now. Ferrari knows what owners see as special even while feeding the masses with the tech of the day stuff.

Okay then, I reckon it was "tongue in cheek" what you wrote. Truth be told though, the F140 is at the end of its road. Time for a new N/A V12 Ferrari, one surpassing 10,000 RPM and 1000 HP, just like the engine in the Valkyrie! :D

The Aston Martin's Valkyrie despite being an hybrid with a total output of 1.1160 horsepower is equipped with a 6.5-liter naturally-aspirated V-12 engine produced by Cosworth that generates about 1,000 hp, at 10,500 rpm with a limit of 11,100 rpm. According to the manufacturer the engine only weights 450 pounds, is equipped with gear-driven camshafts (instead of usual timing belts or chains) and is engineered to last 60.000 miles before needing maintenance and servicing. This engine makes it the most powerful naturally aspirated engine on a street-legal car, while it’ll also be one of the highest revving cars around.
If Cosworth was able to achieve that with their V12 engine the least we can expect is that Ferrari surpasses it with distinction…..

Sounds strange that Ferrari it will be the only one to do another v12 that complies with the law and emissions ... but we love Ferrari and dreams don’ have any cost!

Necessity is the mother of invention. Ferrari knows where their bread is buttered- looking forward to an all new and compliant V-12 which will take this group into the next decade!
